About LLM Comparison Table Generator
Check 3–8 of the 20 cataloged frontier models and instantly get a comparison of context window, input/output prices (USD per 1M tokens), Chinese token efficiency, open-source license and local-deployability — copyable as Markdown for your selection doc. Data comes from our maintained model library (Sep 2026 prices, update date on the page); Chinese efficiency is an approximate chars-per-token ratio. Model names link straight to our review pages. Everything is generated in your browser.
FAQ
- Why cap the selection at 8 models?
- Two reasons. First, readability: past 8 columns a table stops working on mobile, and real shortlists rarely exceed 3–5 candidates. Second, the Markdown you paste out should stay readable too. If you need a full 20-model sheet, split it by scenario (e.g. one closed-source API table, one self-hosted table), copy each, and stitch them.
- How is "Chinese token efficiency" computed?
- It comes from each tokenizer's Chinese chars-per-token ratio: for the same Chinese passage, a 1.5-ratio model spends roughly one token per 1.5 characters, while a 1.0-ratio model spends one per character — on token billing the former can cost less than half. It's approximate: real consumption varies with content (code mixing, named entities, punctuation), and some vendors bill by character instead of token. Use it to shortlist, not to quote.
- How often are prices updated? Can they go stale?
- The library is re-verified at least quarterly (the update date is printed on the page); prices were cross-checked against six comparison sources as of Sep 2026. LLM API prices drop frequently and vendors run new-customer or bulk discounts, so the numbers are reliable for RELATIVE comparison, but for an exact budget check the vendor's pricing page before checkout — that's why every generated table carries the data date in its footer.
